Terms

These terms cover the Castor dashboard, the storefront script, and the Shopify app. Installing the app also means you accept Shopify’s terms for your store.

What you get

The app pulls your catalog, lets you edit it, sends products back to Shopify, and shows popups, widgets, and banners on the storefront. A form can save a signup on your contact list. If you set Generate, we create a one-use discount code in your Shopify admin at the percent you chose and show that code to the shopper.

Your store, your offers

You choose the products, the copy, the percent, and the free-shipping amount. You are responsible for the offer a shopper sees, including whether that percent is one you can afford. The code is created in your Shopify store and can be used once.

Access

Merchants open the app from Shopify Admin. The install uses the permissions you approve there: products, inventory, locations, orders, themes, and discount codes. You can uninstall at any time from Shopify. Uninstall stops new calls. Shopify may later ask us to delete that shop’s contact list, and we do.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to mislead shoppers, to collect addresses you have no reason to keep, or to break Shopify’s rules. We may suspend access that puts other stores or shoppers at risk.

No promise of sales

Recommendations, popups, and discounts are tools. They do not guarantee revenue. The service is provided as it runs today. Shopify’s own checkout, billing, and theme rules still apply to your store.
